Hello All,

Got this e-mail don't know if it is legit. If anyone calls and gets their own show I want 10%.

Hi there,
My name is Meredith Green and I am a reality TV Casting Producer at Crybaby Media in New York City. We are currently looking to develop a new show about Wildlife Relocation Professionals. I'm looking for a person (or team) with a big, unique personality who doesn't shy away from even the biggest and most dangerous wildlife. We want someone who will answer the call regardless of whether it's an elk, a bear, an armadillo, or an opossum. This does need to be a true wildlife catch and release operation- no hurting or killing the animals (except for those times when it's necessary or required by state law).

We'd ideally like this to be in a more rural setting with a wide range of animals involved, but are open to any great characters who know their stuff.

If this describes you or someone you know, I would like to hear from you and talk more about what we are looking for and what you do.

Thanks,
Meredith

Anyone who heads down this road with any production company should talk to some who did it already. The things production companies will do to make
a show more exciting are as Jim mentioned typically illegal, most often not necessary to get the job done right and in general that these folks will do all
manner of things including pay your employees to act a certain way or do things for them once you are signed up (this happened as many of you know to
someone who had this spotlight).

I think our field has some exciting moments, but certainly if you followed me for a month with your cameras you'd be bored out of your mind with just hanging
around while we performed exclusions and resolved issues.

Even live trapping requires or provides little to no excitement to the home viewer, if you don't allow yourself to be sprayed by a skunk or get your glove or
hand torn up by the raccoon that you didn't need to touch...

I think back to Billy and his cat graspers grabbing a bat out of a colony in an attic where it wasn't necessary to even interact with it. Why? For the camera of
course, it wasn't good enough to talk about bats in their presence, gotta grab one with some device to make them seem scarier than they are...

Have a big loathing for what TV does with our industry thus far...

I'd say anyone who goes down this road should consult legal counsel many times before inking paper!

Sounds like everyone got an invitation except me. I know I would be just perfect for the job. I do all kinds of stupid stuff without

any prompting from a director nearly every day. And I learned how to be great in front of the camera after being on the news for ABC,

NBC, CBS, and FOX. I've even been asked to be the campaign manager for Hillary. ( Of course. it was the GOP that asked me )

Anyone seen the show "Bar Rescue", where they turn old Bars with financial or cosmetic issues into more modern and successful businesses? There was an episode in Kansas City MO and it featured Critter Control! the bar had raccoons in it. I heard from the owner about all the theatrics and drama they requested . Filmed every time they were out there with multiple hours of footage ,but ended up with about 5-10 mins of air time

What the heck, I just dug up 5 baby skunks yesterday whose mama was road food. I could have easily made up some sort of story about how she had rabies and was on a rampage through a small village in the area and had to be put down cuz she killed a couple of babies or small children what did they call me?

Very timely, Sweet Pea. I've had a turtle trap out for a couple of weeks now and I was using canned dog food and anything else I

could find for bait. Didn't catch a darned thing. Day before yesterday ran across a big car killed doe. I sliced up the hindquarters

for turtle bait and got 4 of them the first night. Everybody loves venison.

Fresh oily fish will fat out produce anything you'll try, venison included. Not that fresh red meat won't work. It certainly will. We use carp and skip jack herring and some (rainbow) trout rack,(what's left after the fish is filleted.

Sweet Pea, I supposed there is the added enjoyment of "making" my grandsons go out and catch some carp!

one of you weasles must have given her my info cause she hit me up today. must not have any takers yet. I filled out the questioner for her and right there in bold print was this (If either your number of teeth or your IQ is greater than 15 you need not apply)

so there it is...

Ha! If I had enough business to keep them interested I'd get on camera and act like an idiot. As long as it pays better than offshore work.

Funny you should mention teeth. I had mine cleaned today and it hurt like heck. The bill was $200. That's 50 bucks a tooth!
