Ok I know you guys don't talk prices very openly so lets talk about the other parts that add up to pricing. I have never trapped moles, so do most guys price off of a time line for trapping and if so what is a average time line for trapping? size of yard play a part? and/or do most guys have a set up fee and per animal?

Setup fee + per mole fee. Setup fee varies on location, lawn size, duration and if they are a previous customer. Prices are posted on my website.

My advice would be to get some practice in first before selling yourself...otherwise you'll have a great many wasted journeys and it will probably cost you $$ in fuel and you might get a bad rep. before selling yourself, make sure you can do the job.....

We do flat rate pricing for 7-10 days of trapping. All based on travel distance and scope of work established after an inspection.

Flat rate here. We got lower moles, per acre than I hear on here. I go by area, damage, and traps. Min of 275 for 5 days. Bigger propertie 425, and commercial like a baseball field north of that

Prices listed on my website...i now dont charge the customer anything til i catch moles...used to charge a set up fee when down by mike k but with my price structure the way it is now...i come up short about $50 than what i did with a set up fee but i also get the customers that wouldn't of been willing to give $ up front too

Flat for a pre-determined timeframe. Per head work is not good for me. I like getting paid for time, etc b/c I know the results will follow.

Flat rate for me. No leaving rotted moles for customer. No waiting for payment. No stolen moles from raccoons digging them up and walking off with them. No customers removing them.

Been trappin moles for 12 years and seen alot....taken over 8,700 but haven't tallied up this years yet...will definitely be over the 9,000 mark by end of year....i am not worried about someone stiffing me....my prices are high enough to only get the type of person that will pay the bill...i just make it "no risk" so they dont pay money up front and i prove to them i know what i am talking about...it only creates better referrals....speaking of....got a referral to one of states top golf courses for moles and setting them up in the morning

Trap checks will depend on your regulations. Some states will have a 24 hour requirement while others have no requirement at all. The only relationship between cost and trap check is in the cost setting process.
