Okay, you guys probably know that our eldest grandson is graduating from high school this weekend and that we are throwing a party

for him. My daughter ordered a roast pig from friends of hers and went over and took a picture of the live pig so she could hang it

up so people could know who they were eating. ( The pig's name was Bricks )

Might freak some people out, But nobody's making them eat it. Hope he is washed up for the photo. And add some lipstick. Lol

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

*shrug*

Meat has to come from somewhere.

I think it would be more interesting to walk him around to meet everybody before you take him out back...

Funny thing is I grew up knowing most of my meals by name. Daddy raised cattle, chickens and rabbits plus had an uncle that raised a few hogs. I learned early on not to play with your food.

It really bothers me today to be around people who can look at a cow and not see ribeye. It almost like they came from another planet.

That's why in 4H, a kid has to raise and care for an animal from birth to market. I understand there's a lot of tears involved at the end.

Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon.

Remember Bowe Bergdahl, the traitor.

Beware! Jill Pudlewski, Ron Oates and Keven Begesse are liars and thiefs!

David, do you think that's why dear old dad would holler at me when he'd catch me riding the pigs? ( If you never tried to ride a

pig, believe me, it's a very short ride and when you fall off in the pig manure dear old mom would have some words of wisdom also )

One day he came into the barn and I was sitting on a bull. I think that's just about the time he decided to get me a horse.

grin

I remember riding the pigs when I was a kid. You had to watch out for the ones that would bite, though.
