I have been using this type of trap for many years, this is not the way this trap was designed to be used, however, its works very well in this style set. You must check your local laws before you use this type trap, it is considered a body grip trap.

Nice work! I like the trim coil anchor you made, that is clever. I generally use these http://www.alliedelec.com/keystone-electronics-8101/70182381/ for holding the Koro traps on gutters. I wish they came with the back section pre-wired off.

I'm glad somebody was able to get a tidbit off of that, don't know how many people use those traps like that, I had asked Allen if he could have the nut welded on a differant place, however when that was not possible we started making our own straps out of trim coil.
Saves time and money, always something laying around to make them from.

X2 thanks for sharing. Two more techniques for securing traps. Usually use plumbing strap myself.
