It says Hudson Bay magnum 1 1/4 on the pan. Would it be worth putting on the wall or just use it

From what I can see it looks like a stamp of H 67 on bottom of your trap, That stands for Herters and the year 1967, Most every Herters trap is stamped the same way, most all will also say Japan, that is where they were manufactured. If the pan reads nice without cleaning, keep for collector, otherwise use it, that's what it was made for. Good Luck

I would say it belongs on the wall. Value is some where around $20.00 or so, depending on condition and pan readability.

Herters pans were usually lightly stamped but it sounds like you can read this one, so that is a plus.

1967 is the first year that Hudson Bay smaller size traps were made.

Nice find.

Thanks to everyone. It has caught lots of rats so I guess I'll retire it. Thanks again
