A friend of mine in Morgan Co IL is having a coon issue in her rental place and cant find an ADC trapp in the area. County animal control hasn't been of much use. Anyone on here in that area?

I do a ton of bat work in Morgan County... but it's too far for any type of animal trapping due to daily trap check laws. Here is a great website for info on Illinois wildlife control. It is the most comprehensive resource you will find. This page allows you to search by county or region:

Ron, that is without a doubt the coolest wildlife website I have ever enjoyed. The rest of the country could learn a lesson on how to

make an ADC website from that one. You have more ADC guys in Cook County than we have in the entire state. But come to think of it,

you may have more people in Cook County than we do in the entire state also. Very interesting seeing the names of so many people I

know and equally amazing the number of people that have never attended a meeting or seminar. Thanks for posting.

The site was developed with the coordination of U of I and IDNR. It was a major undertaking (obvious by the content and layout) and provides a complete source of information for people experiencing wildlife issues. Not only does it provide the biology for each species, it shows many pictures (sign/damage) to help identify the problem animal.

It does offer some DIY info, but if you spend much time reading through the various sections, it OFTEN suggests contacting a nuisance wildlife control company, and explains why. I send the link showing regs to many potential DYIers and tell them to read through it. They at least become aware of the laws before they start performing their "list" of illegal methods they were advised to use at the local coffee shop.
