Great looking set up on the sled and beautiful country. How long does it take you too get to your line?

AK we all like the Boxes. But more importantly lets make a commitment to share a bottle of Crown Royal Black some where in the bush before too long

Man your new Tundra looks good. My Tundra gave my a big stinky lump of coal for Christmas: The crappy Chinese sealed jackshaft bearing went again. 5370KM and this is the second bearing it has blown. Looks like it will be the Voyager for the next month or so while I try and get the jackshaft sent out and a new bearing pressed on. Well there goes any hope of making any money this year, it did not look good before that any-ways.

I was skeptical with the studs, mine came with it for free even, but have come to like them greatly! They did forget to put in the UHMW runners, a quick trip to delta fixed that. We ripped it apart put them in. I do need to get my shocks rebuilt, but don't have much intent of riding. At this point I'm surprised I still have it.

How much does that box weigh JR? Did you bump up your suspension?

AK don't forget to put Crown Royal on your next grocery list. Looks like that bottle is sucking a lot of air. smile

Not much going on this season with me. Kind of got a lack of drive this year. Finally got out and set out some wolf gear last week. Really liking the new Tundra. 79.5 miles home on 4.3 gallons of fuel, breaking trail on 6"s of new snow. The belt chirped on me a few times on the ride home. May have to seal up some holes to keep the snow out of the cowl. The Tundra really throws the snow around when breaking trail. I was soaked when I got home. Picked up my first shed of the year.
Flew out to look at the river and cover some country. The Tanana is wide open and seemed to have no intentions of freezing up at my crossing. It was actually scary to see the amount of overflow.

Ended up going out the long way leaving from the house again. Set up a camp half way so I could spend some time putting out wolf gear.

Didn't take many pics this trip, was just covering as much country and setting as much gear as I could. It snowed every day I was out there, not accumulating snow but just enough to make it flat light and interesting breaking trail. Saw quite a few moose and lots of wolf sign.

Had a visitor invite himself into the cabin for breakfast. Cute little destructive fella really wanted my moose sausage.

Heading back out on Sunday to lay down some more gear and hopefully get something for the stretcher.

Good luck and hope this weather breaks by the weekend.
It's been down to -59 here in Eastern Interior.

Glad to see you got out Jr. Interesting how changes in weather patterns can throw a guy for a loop with regards following through with regular events he is used to. Shouldn't be hard to put that weasel on the stretcher. ;0) Or is he going to be a regular?

Thanks guys.
HFT... Are you going to make it up this year for a ride a long?

FT.. The ermine will be a regular til he messes up. He's worth more around the cabin than his little pj's are worth on a stretcher. Heck, entertainment value is priceless.

Tradbow1... AO Pipeline.

Bushman... Definately can make time for sharing a bottle

Trapper Ron... Thanks for the reminder on the grocery list. List is filled and will be hauled out this week.

What'd they charge for the stove jack and stove? Pretty slick looking winter set up. But man at 1300 that's in the kifi range of Lens set up!

That sounds like a good deal until I start converting my $0.79 dollar. Fort MacPherson tent and canvass for me I suppose.

That looks like a nice setup Jr. A little short at 4.3 ft peak but nice to see an AO at 20 lbs. Interesting.

I thought similar Len, it looks sweet...but for that kind of money I wonder if the 8man kifaru, liner and stove wouldn't be a better trail option. It sure opens up a lot of hooch idears!

It does look much easier to set up than the kifaru however that comes with limited experience (buddies 6man no liner only ran a few times in it).
