Chicken eating bobcat. Handled like this-

These chickens did not appreciate their nocturnal visitor. It would come at night, the chickens would be panicked and start flying and running around. When a chicken got too close, the bobcat would then snag one and pull it through the wire. It caught four chickens over a 10-day period before the trap was set The chicken pen is made of 2X4 inch weld wire and covered with the same, it is about 20 feet square and 6 feet high.

The trap was set outside the pen and baited with a beaver leg. The trap was placed inside the pen so that both the chickens and bobcat could be seen.

Muskrats in a neighborhood pond, chewed electric lines to the fountain.

Set colony traps at den entrances and some visible runs, also made a handful of pockets and faux slides guarded by 1.5's.

Set it up on Sunday and have taken four so far. Infestation is not bad, caught two first night and would see one live one each morning check until catching two more this morning when I saw no live ones. I know that doesn't guarantee I've got them all yet, but I consider it an indicator.

I I wouldn't say slow I just got home and it's 5 minutes after 11. 1 new squirrel job first thing, picked up a coon and an opossum. Checked a beaver job, did an attic inspection and sold a mouse job on it. Checked another beaver job and went and got a bat.

it is not a stupid question if you do not know the answer

First thing this morning a women calls. She was trying to trap a squirrel getting her bird feader and low and behold a skunk trapped. She was using a raccoon size trap for squirrels! Easy job when they trap for you. Got paid, tipped, and her husband gave me the trap to avoid further problems.

good way to help get my business going

I'm almost too embarrassed to tell you. My last several jobs were all the same. Mouse work. I don't remember a year like this one for

those cute little rodents. I shouldn't complain. No ladders. I can stay warm and they keep us going all winter long.
