Muskrat.. Team V on here covered my seat for me with some ballistic material I had on hand. Just did it to protect the seat a little more and does look good too. I have a bad habit of tearing my seats climbing over them with my boots and gaiters ripping my seat covers. Cannot wait to see how your Voyager preforms. I'm hoping this Tundra is a Skidoo and not a Skidon't like my other Scandic Skidid.

Excellent job TeamV. I thought my Tundra seat was dry but it froze again today when I used it. Might have to order a Boss Seat. Check out my latest video on the Almighty Video thread; lots of Voyager in action on the Yukon North Slope. Good luck with the Tundra I had to change the clutch on mine put a Power Block 80 on there night and day improvement. Butter smooth shifting compared to to the bang and jerk, belt eating OEM clutch.
Trapper Ty you have me getting off the computer and going out to check the KMs on my Tundra to see if I should expect my pogos to break. Really glad i bought the Voyager after reading that. But Ak Howlers Tundra with the snow camo seat really looks cool.

The Tundra will serve you well, a very agile machine in tight forest. I would like to get the Scandik for the heavy hauling, and my tundra for trapping, best of both worlds.
Nice camo seat on the tunda.

Good luck on the season.

Still haven't put any gear in the field. Busy building 9's and going crazy. Flew out to the trapping cabin to check on trails, sign, and the river. THE RIVER isn't even close. Was thinking about taking the airboat over with the sled in it but snow conditions didn't look that promising anyhow.

Lots of overflow on the creek and some major falling out ice. Everything looked good at the cabin. Had lots of ermine and coyote tracks on the river. Had a lynx walk through the yard 5 feet from the cabin. Saw some griz tracks by the cabin from before this last little snow.

Saw 4 wolves on Crystal Ridge, a ridge I've always wanted to put some gear, and they didn't hang around long. I did manage to get one pic of the last one heading off the ridge for the canyon. Saw lots of moose which really suprised us. The big bulls already shedding antlers. The moose were yarded up in pretty big numbers which was kind of odd to me with such little snow. Well maybe get a little colder weather and the river will freeze next week, quite a bit of ice flowing down her.

Cool pic's! We finally got a good dump of snow the other day, about a foot out on the line. The overflow right now is ridiculous and back breaking! I normally see a bunch of moose, between 20-40 in the early part of the season, this year I have only seen a group of 5 bulls. Funny how the snow drives the train like that!. Hopefully you'll get cold and snow and be able to hit it! Thanks for sharing!

These are some great pictures JR, from the sounds of things it's a great time to hunt moose sheds. While setting out your trap lines. I hope you catch the wolves and coyotes .

The river hasn't froze up at my usual crossing so changed things up a bit. Left from the house on my sled and crossed the river by town. 106 miles from my shop to the cabin door on my new Tundra. Not much snow but a good trip just the same. Covered a lot of new country, seen some moose and a whole lot of wolf sign. Our wet summer in the interior really changed up the rivers. I lost a few #9's and couple snare pens. Didn't set out any gear. The new Tundra did well and the studded track is a great addition. Fur sign was scarce seeing only a half dozen marten and very little cat sign. Wolves were running amuck and only a few coyotes. Next week I'll head back out and lay some iron (all my wolf gear) and set some snares. Kind of strange to cover 235 miles with all that wolf sign and not find a single kill. Merry Christmas everyone.

Finished the box on the Tundra

Had some good groceries while out at the cabin. Canned snowshoe hare and moose steaks

Merry Christmas JR, that is a fine trapping box and set up. I've never tried canned snowshoe hare but it sounds good.
Our weather turned to snow so we have a white Christmas after all, not enough to ride a sled on yet but soon if the wind doesn't pick up.
Allan
