I have a dozen Victor 1-1/2 Stop Loss(long spring)Traps, I bought them new late 70's or early 80's. Is there any real value to them? I also have a dozen #1 stop loss and a half dozen #1 jump stop loss. I was thinking of taking the stop loss springs off. Any information on them would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Those stop loss traps don't have any collector value, but they do have user value, especially with rat prices the way they are.

The 1 1/2 stop loss have a retail value of about $9.00 each. The smaller stop loss about $7.00 each.

If you are thinking about taking the stop loss apparatus off - Please Don't!! Why turn a $9.00 trap into a $4.50 trap, when you could sell it or trade it and get the traps you really want.

Just something to think about before you take the stop loss traps apart.

Cool, thanks! The way they are designed with the stop loss spring you can only have the long spring positioned straight. Thanks again!
