Hey guys, I just picked up a few Helfrich 750's with offset jaws. Any ideas what they are worth? Awesome traps, one is missing a pan.

The 750 came in 2 models - beaver and coyote. Not sure what the difference is.

According to Tom Parr' collector trap price guide. The value on the beaver model is around $100.00 in good condition. The wolf model is $25,00 higher.

Seems a bit high to me, but then I've dealt with that trap in my used trap business.

I'm sure there will be other Tman members that will offer their opinions later on today?

I got mine at the NTA convention for $80
It is the Beaver model. I think the only difference was the chain set-up.

I love Mustelids...

What was the consensus amongst the "wolfers" about the Eliminator trap...how did it function?

I only knew one GOOD wolfer that used them alot and he loved them. He was one of the best in the state. They seemed to work well for him. Lost a trigger now and then and a jaw would get pulled out once and a while. I believe all traps will fail eventually if used a lot. I've never personally put one in the field.
