this is the only B&L catalog i have left and the only mention of a date in this one is a testimonial letter on page 4 dated Feb 12, 1925,,i always thot of this one as a 1926,,,is the one u r thinking of come in a larger 8 1/2 x 11 format and show a trapper with a packbasket on his back and walking on snowshoes?

That was issued from about 1926 into the mid 1930s at the least. The endorsement letter is dated February, 1925. It couldn't have been used until the following season as it took a year or so to have the brass artwork made for the presses. One clue is the mention of the Milk Pattern Fox trap that was bought from the inventor in 1936.
Be careful though. In 1976 the company reprinted this catalog in honor of the Hawkins Company buying control of the company in the 1920s. Those are marked on the back as a reprint.
