Got this in a box of parts at an auction, not sure what it was, any ideas? Obviously more modern than what you guys have shared, but it sure has me puzzled.

Thanks
Waz

I'm thinking the remains of a VICTOR 22.

Yes. The pan should say FOX TRAP in the center.

I have nothing clever to put here.

THIS IS AN AD IN THE 1938-39 F C TAYLOR FALL TRAPPING SUPPLY CATALOG,,,IT SHOWS THE PLAIN JAW AND THE DOUBLE JAW,,IT SHOWS FOX TRAP ONLY ON THE SINGLE JAW VERSION, AND I HAVE NOT BEEN INTO COLLECTING VICTORS FOR A LONG TIME AND CAN NOT REMEMBER IF THE ADDED FOX TRAP TO THE 22 OR NOT,,,I ALWAYS LIKED THAT TRAP,,,I CAN NOT REMEMBER IF THE LATER VERSION OF THIS TRAP WITH SQUARE JAWS HAD FOX ON THE PAN OR NOT BUT I THINK IT DID FOR AWHILE,,,,THERE IS NO MENTION OF THIS TRAP IN THE 1937-38 CATALOG,,

Interesting. The ad showed the double jaw connected to the outside jaw but the photo of my trap parts and Nhousecattrapper's #22 show a differrent jaw style.

Thanks for sharing!

What appeared in the artwork was very often slightly different than the production run traps. The center connection probably proved too costly with the extra work involved.
