ernie lengle trapper E Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 28 Rigby Idaho	the bottom one is a Triumph No. 1 easy set. common trap came in 3 versions, regular jaw, square jaw, and cast triple clutch. The one you have looks to be a regular jaw.

Even though the trap is in rough shape, still has collector value. Not sure when it was made. In my 25+ years of trap collecting, I've seen 3. It was only made for a few years. Try washing the trap in warm soapy water and use an old toothbrush to remove any loose rust. Do NOT try to clean it with vinegar or any other chemicals. Bought a group of 7 traps at an auction because these two caught my eye. I actually have two victors with the butterfly dog out of the bunch. What kind of value are we looking at for them?

N-R Trapper trapper N Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 1,907 Louisiana	I know a game warden in New Mexico,that is from Nebraska and he has a #11 Victor Special,in excellent condition and the first one that I had ever seen. My advice to him was to hold on to it,since,I had never seen a #11 Victor with the butterfly dog and I have seen a lot of #11 Victors,in my time,knew it was a keeper. Good Luck

One is in very good condition, and the other is a little more readable than the pictures above.
