Anybody else have problems with this company, have printed my ads wrong for the second year .

Never heard of them. Are they nationwide?

Did you check the local BBB for complaints before hiring them?

That in itself, has sure saved me headaches after reading up on potential vendors...for any service offered to the public.

They are out of ohio ,locally they have taken over the wind stream book.and no I did not check the BBB, I have no faith in them because you can pay for a good rating.

The Windstream book is very small print and hard to read. The talking phone book is navigated easier. IMO

More and more people are using their phones and computers for doing any type of searches that have been always done in the yellow pages.

In the near future yellow pages in a phone book may not be an option.

Web sites or web listings will be probably be the norm.

They screwed that up also .

They put my number in wrong the last year i advertised with them!
And they still wanted to charge me because "people are still seeing my name"
Really?!?
Then to top it off, the online ad they ran for me said "cash only" wth!!!

Ouch...... I would be absolutely furious with that situation and I hate to hear your having to deal with a matter such as this, I am sure its a nightmare. It doesn't matter if your name is posted all over the internet or phone book. It doesn't do you any good if you can't receive calls. How do they expect you to make money? The cash only really tops the cake. Hope you're able to get your situation resolved Nic.

The screw ups last a long time too - at least until the book gets pitched. I do not advertise in phone directories anymore but this year the Yellow Book morons listed me under "Animal Rescue" for some reason and I have fielded numerous calls for all kinds of time wasting crap.

Mike. I envy you! The phone book ads have gotten more competitive and more expensive than ever. And in spite of the fact that our

salesman is terrible at his job, we are right there in the thick of things. I can't wait until our customers hear about computers.

You're right Paul. Prices increased each year and yet fewer people use them. I quit the directories because almost every customer said they found me on the internet or by referral. That and I felt I was being played by the sales people who would tell me my competitors were doing this or that under this and that category, blah, blah, blah.

It did eventually get resolved but it took countless hours on the phone doing so. In the end I still lost due to the time wasted on them.

They don't want to resolve mine,got in my website sewage pumping ,and don't understand why I want it removed.cant even look at the site it just makes me angry.
