Hey Lundy, or anyone else for that matter; Out of all the properties that I do, I have only one where the slugs are driving me

crazy. My question is simple, can slugs ingest all of my Contrac Blox and still live? Because that is exactly what they do! And I

guess I'm a little surprised that I'm the only one who has asked this question. Slugs on this property, at this time of the year,

eat everything; including poisons, squirrel baits, raccoon baits, and apparently anything else you leave lying around. I know how

to deter them, but after 20 plus years I would really like to annihilate these slimy buggers!

A layer of salt in the boxes will stop the slugs.

I talked to a gal that put beer in a can and puts the can's in her flower garden. She said there are slugs in the can's every morning. She only uses cheap beer. If you try this method let us know.

The salt thing works great. I tried it last year. Guess I'll try the beer thing next. I haven't had a beer for 34 years which is only

important because when I stopped drinking beer, we lost Schlitz, Blatz, Pabst, and a host of other small breweries in our area in a

couple of years. Apparently when my wife said I drank too much, she wasn't kidding!

A saucer of beer in your garden is an old time trick for slugs.

Blatz.....that brings back memories, mostly bad ones but still memories lol
