I have Northwoods 1 3/4 double spring soft catch that were used for many years on yotes in Texas. All on drags. Very foot friendly. Northwoods doesn't make them anymore but Oneida Victor are basically the same.

Cast or laminated offset jaws, center swivel, long springs or just double coils, and depending on how you secure your trap you may want a spring in the chain. In my experience rubber jaws cut into the foot by slightly flexing back and forth. Check traps often.
