Is there a way to clean blood from dryed fur without starting over?

If there are lumps of blood in the fur, you can try combing it out with a coarse tooth comb. The lumps should break up with a comb and then flakes would shake out.

If it is just a stain, take a rag and warm water and try to wash it out.

If the pelt is already stretched and dried, I would NOT start over and rehydrate the whole thing. By doing so, you could increase the chance of slippage.

Brake cleaner might work, I use it on my clothes for oil and grease.

Wash the fur BEFORE fleshing, then stretch and dry.

Borax it. It's some of the best stuff that you put on your fur to clean it and make it work better.
Hey Donnie have you ever checked with the taxidermists out there?
