I have a number of raccoon baits that will not attract cats and for this I am very greatful.

Now if you want make me even greatfuller, how about a feral cat bait that won't attract raccoons?

P.S. Can anyone tell that I set three cages for cats yesterday and caught three huge raccoons today?

Bingo, you can trap various animals that move in the day with this method regardless of bait.

Is there a particular brand, type, scent, of catnip that any of you have found to be particularly effective. My use of our local catnip products has not been worth the price.

Do I need to call Garfield?

No clue! I just bought some from wally world because I'm going to do the same thing you are in a couple weeks. my sister has house cats, and they go downright crazy at the smell of it. Also, my sister has this cloth "mouse" that has a pouch in it so you can fill it with catnip.
