QUIT SPRAYING THEM!

You are only making a mess and if they need to be killed that is best determined by someone who knows bees.

Get in touch with your local beekeepers association. Your near Houston so you should be in a market that has plenty of professionals available to remove them.

X200.

If you kill those honeybees, you will have a bigger mess on your hands than when they were alive.

Get a Bee keeper. Be honest and tell him what type of spray you have used too.

To Bee Or Not To Bee; That Is The Question.

I think Rick might be wrong.

Without bees, only those people who constantly call you "Honey" would die.

Take a good look at the picture. That is a ceiling joist bay and it is four feet end to end. Look at the distance between the combs, exactly 5/16". Now do you really thing you can stand 20 feet back with a can of raid and ever hope to penetrate every crack and crevice to get chemical in contact with all 50 to 60 thousand bees?
It can be done but not by any method commonly available to the average homeowner. Plus the average homeowner won't get up close and personal like you have to to effectively treat the bees.

Plus whether you treat (kill) or remove them alive, as I do, the cavity has to be opened to remove the comb, honey and bees whether dead or alive.

Just imagine the result if the colony in the photo was killed without removing what you see.

FYI, kilz paint won't touch the stain that will result.

Apicide dust and their done by next morning,if you want to hop it up a little add a small amount of Tempo dust to the Apicide. I have exterminated lots of Bees and Yellow Jackets with this and NOTHING works better.
