Mike, reminds my of my high school days. In my senor year the school decided to have wrestling eliminations. You had to wrestle every kid that was in your weight class. One loss, and you were out of the competition. I took great pleasure in whipping all the smug jocks that walked around with their noses in the air. They gave me all of the incentive I needed. And they were shocked that us farm boys won nearly all the weight classes!

I have been in BJJ for 20yrs and my joints cant take it anymore. my son is in his 4th yr. His last tourney he won with ezekiel choke....his name is ezekiel. It was pretty cool.

How old is ur son? He his very good.

My boy is 20, he has been training for just under 2 years, 4 hours a day. 2 hrs jui-jitsu and 2 kick boxing. He got promoted to blue belt on the podium.

My son is 19 and blue as well. Trains under nogueira brothers. He rolled with big Nog and I told him that to me that was the equivalent of someone my age being able to spar with bruce lee back in the day.

I think it is one of the best things a kid can do.

The officials there are not always so attentive. I've seen them miss allot, even tap outs. So from now on Eddie doesn't worry much about points. He goes for complete submission now.
