As much as I would love to use Koro traps, sorry to say kill traps aren't legal in GA.

I trapped them in the winter with a squirrel pole with no bait,you might try that. and I reckon just try using the acorns as bait, you can make acorn butter I'm pretty sure, and that might work?...
