I hate to be a novice at legholds but I am . I have set the number threes at 2.5 on the scale for yotes. I was thinking of 1.5 lbs for fox please advise me as to what is best. Traps used for fox are number 2 in montgomery and victor with a few 1.75 in the same brands. I am now trapping in frozen ground using ant mound and antifreeze for bedding. Most traps are offset, laminated and center swiveled or a combination of all three. Thanks in advance for the help.

I run all my footholds at 2.5 pounds, and for me that produces consistent high catches on the reds, grays, and yotes.
