so all you guys that have seen these really wet and cold winters, how do you think its gonna effect the root digging come this summer/fall?

Wont effect it at all. Digging root this summer/fall we will have to rely on moisture we receive throughout the season.No water in the summer hard digging in the fall. The spring should be really good, especially for mushrooms, if we can get some warmth.
