Couldnt get out today, PWS was gusting to 40 knots, blowing snow & whiteout conditions. Had to turn around w/boat in tow.

Yah, it's clouding up here. I'm surely not used to any cold yet and can't wait for my beard to grow. There is a little nip on my face from riding the machine.

The creeks are froze, but not very good. I just rode by too hot rod's sunk in the slough.

I can't wait to get home and get all of my gear ready to go. Apparently my lure orders are in...and make the shed smell gooooooooood. I pre-baited my "nome line" and I CAN'T GET TO IT. Fortunately I left all the bait holes covered so nothing could get to it, i saw where the critters had dug around the plywood. And now...they are just running FREE with NO snares out to hinder their movements. Its a shame!

Wow! The site is reporting only -4 degrees. The river must be a regular highway by now with these low temps, huh?
I got sunburned today hiking around these red rocks in Arizona. I saw only tracks in the sand tho'...no aneemuls. Well, there was a couple with a pure bred collie.
There sure are a lot of people down here!

those potatoe swith wires coming out of em, like the high school electricity experiment???

I just ordered from the havels scalpel place. can't ship usps, so I said well sorry, we don't have ups or fedex here they don't have a dog sled..
oh, well I can get em in a box for the P.O then.. WTF??? I think they just don't like to do it..
anyways, I get em and they charged $14 shipping for 20 scalpels,
the postage on the box, $7.65... must be it is $6.35 handling..
still cheaper then fedex or ups...

Being my address is chugiak, i play that game with everyone, they don't know I am minutes from anchorage, they think i am in middle of nowhere, I usually add to that, by tellin them about the fall penguin migration, and the polar bears showing up.. they usually find away to get it usps to me
and all those trads really thinkthere are penguins plugging the village trails... ha ha ha

Yeah smalltime that guy is a complete moron, trying to drag the guides name through the mud. Wade is a great guy, went out of his way 3 times to help the guy, but bottom line was the guy did not like the idea of being in the wilderness.
