YEEE HAAAA!!!!! I got my FOOT IN THE DOOR OF ALASKA !!!

"You do not have to be a resident of Anchorage in order to apply.

While we do not pre-qualify applicants, I would encourage you to apply if you feel you meet the minimum requirements and are interested. You will want to include hours/time for all your continuing education and training that is specific to this position and it will be evaluated once the position closes. "

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK OF THAT????????????????????

They say that to everyone because they don't want to be accused of discrimination. Pretty much they are saying "please apply so we can say we saw it. Take as much time and put as much effort into it as you can, because we really don't care. Your resume' will quickly be filed away in the round file for further recycling as butt wipe. Thank you for keeping us in paper."

Not to change the subject or anythig, but I just noticed this thread is nearing 3,000 posts. Wasn't that where we had the big crash some time back? Are we in better shape, now?

Take care, y'all.

Yeah it was right around 3000 that we crashed it. We should probably start a new one just to be safe.

Are we in better shape now than then?? I know I'm not.

Jeff glad to see you guys are getting some up there. Aren't you on something like 2/18 hour subsitence periods a week or something like that? They hit pretty good on the Nushagak over the weekend and we picked up 49 kings with a few reds and dogs in the mix wish I had my camera as one red was under 12 inches and managed to get fowled up in 8 inch king gear. Was the smallest red i have ever seen but when the fish were devided it went to another family
