Just so happens this evening I got to try it out.............

Saw two coyotes down the draw from the house on the way home, they were almost 3/4 of a mile north when I saw them. Was hoping they would still be close enough to hear by the time I got to the house, ran over to the tree line and played the lightening jack. Within about two minutes they were coming at a good clip across the draw headed right to me. As they got below the edge of washout, I lost sight of them and one popped up about 70y in front of me. Zipped him in the chest, he went straight down and rolled over twice and was done. Never saw the second one again.

So it wouldn't extract after being fired, or a live round?

I'm hoping browning makes a Tbolt for it. I "heard" savage had a license agreement till January 1. I'm ready for one myself

That was the only pic I took, there was no exit and the entry looked like my .222 entries do....... .22. Happy with the performance on this one. Entry was about 1" left of center on the front of his chest.

I am sure it will be over a grand but seems like a sweet option.

I'd call them and ask about extractor issues and what to do next.

Yup, mine started that after about 20 rounds. Some it would, some not. The ejectors have been a big issue for a lot of Bmag owners.

Its my understanding that this is a common problem with some of the BMags

Called savage today and had great customer service, called at 12pm and by 4pm I had a ship ticket emailed to me and in the mail for repair. I realize everyone's saying it a poor quality gun and I agree, the stocks flimsy and the barrel is extremely lightweight. But by no means was it an expensive gun, once it's fixed I believe it will do everything it's supposed to do. The weight of the gun is extremely minimal and will be awesome to take predator hunting.

I see Savage has a heavy barrel option too, MSRP $408. I've heard the stocks are junk but $100 can buy a new one, plus it has accutrigger standard.
