I was going to ask for a lay off because it was slow.... guess what happened?

Yup, We picked up a contract that needs to be completed before Christmas. 7 days a week, 12 hr days and 3 1/2 hrs from home. Just finished up pulling my traps and freezing a couple critters.

Kinda hoping the next gov shutdown in January I can be deemed 'non-essential' and get furloughed to the house.

Working my *** off trying to show 'em how non-essential I can be.

I'm usually off for 3-4 months. Nothing I can do about it so I will enjoy it

You're right Bob but it does slow down some. I'm hoping to get laid off at Christmas time.

In a week I'll be laid off, the impoundment for Seneca will be complete. I'll still be on call for plowing but have plenty of time to trap unless I get sent to Ohio for all the well sites that need to be built. Let's hope not. Its awesome to get all this free time to trap.
