you know what, this ain't a very good post.
there is a big bunch of us on here not born with the silver spoon.
i'm not going to speak for anyone but me. I know what is right and wrong. I have never stolen one single thing from any man since I was 7 years old and learned that lesson from my own people and my own kind.
only once have I hurt a man that did not earn it, that one time I was with his woman and he had a gun and so did I. I was in my early twenty's and learned a hard lesson from it.
I have never killed one critter I could not sell, or shot one critter other then ducks I did not eat since I was a teenager. I stopped killing ducks in my thirties because of the random wanton waste of it all, mainly due to rich folk, and knowing in my hart it was wrong...I've killed and helped kill plenty and one day i'll have to answer for it and I wont have a good one, .. I don't see me looking god in the eye trying to.
I see these posts about professional trappers and they make me laugh for the most part, i'll tell ya what that is...that's a no-a-count that never takes the feelings of others in to account, quits good jobs, sells what ever he owns to buy what he needs to trap, and only thinks about himself and does what ever it takes just to have the FREEDOM of being out there, it's never ever about the money...that's just part of the big lie...now there are a very few like phil brown and some northern rat trappers and some good coon men like dave and red I ain't counting. i'm talking about guys like me.
whiskey jim, worked at jim beam distillery 30 years, he just told me today that as people there retire, the people that replace them will get a 25% cut in pay no matter what the job...beam makes billions...but that don't make beam an outlaw...
am I an outlaw? well I guess that depends on who's eye holes your looking out of.
but I have no fear, not for one second, to use what god put on top of these shoulders, to take good care of these two little babies
