Any of you folks grow them? Can you start them this time of year? Any tips?

Thanks,

Growing shiitake mushrooms is a lot of fun and the end results are delicious!

Check out this website: http://fieldforest.net/store/index.php?main_page=page&id=3&chapter=0

That is were I buy all my supplies and shitake mushroom spawn.

Need to cut your green shiitake oak logs in February then inoculate them in May. They then have to sit for a year before they will start producing mushrooms.

Any questions pm me back!

Chris
