Wolves are the last item to sell. Some time Tuesday morning - after the wolverine, cougars and bears.

The room won't be full, but there will be plenty of action. When they are selling certain items, the quality of the buyers is more important than the quantity.

I was going to throw one away that had the mange in a large area on the flank of a male pale. Said to myself. " What the heck send it." Grade DG1 and brought $90. Top of the Section III pile. You people must ship some real crap in if that one was the top of the Section III. LOL

I predict a Top Lot Section III is in my future mail. crazy

Not at all happy with mink. Had not a single damaged or even slightly damaged pelt. Sent in 80% males, all XL. $26.00 average. Had over half go private treaty. $20.00 for an XL dark brown grade 1? come on. I know that the May sale generally comes in lower than the Feb. sale, but half? Guess it evens out for the early sale that some did so well on.
Oh, as a crack-up, all my squerrel hides got "bought-back". No kidding. Guess no body was willing to pay .75.

Is the commission reduction still in place for marten over $100? Called NAFA usa today and they could not answer the question.

Yes it is still on any marten sold for over 100.00 2% extra reduction for members of the wild fur shipper council. Plus the 2% commission rebate.

How did you guys make out on your lynx prices. I was real happy with a $205.47 average. Was hoping for $185. The lynx was a complete intersort and separated by what they were not by where they came from. As you could see the AK/NWT were at the start this time. Comments?
