ohbuyer II trapper Joined: May 2010 Posts: 247 Ohio	Just maple here. Not enough birch to mess with. If memory serves me right i think its like 100 gallons of sap / gallon syrup. uplandpointer trapper U Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 369 East Central Mn.	I've not made it but tried it a few times. Not as sweet, it has it's own taste. If I remember write the sap/gallon ratio is way up there.
