Can't find anything in the archives about this. Anyone know who sells some good wolf gland lure? I been catching a few on other lure like coyote and fox gland but wanted to try to find some wolf gland lure.

Maybe Im thinking about this too much, I see that MTP only has coyote lures that people use for wolves. Is it true that nobody makes a wolf gland lure. I find that hard to beleive.

I've caught a few wolves. I have never had any luck with lures on anything but a few pups. Trying to get a wolf to go somewhere he wasn't going to go himself anyway can be an exercise in futility. It might work on your wolves there, at least until after a couple seasons and they start to learn that trappers are after them!

A better idea would be to become a student of wolf behavior and learn how to "put the trap where the wolf is going to step."

Pete, your talking about blind setting them Im guessing. I am a forester and I plow alot of rds into areas not accessible most times of the year. When I do this I always see wolves marking this "new" rd. That is gonna be one of my main sets. Basically a urine post.
