A few months ago, I posted that I was interesting in buying seeds for these trees so that I can try to get some growing on my property in Pennslvania. I would expect that the fruit will be ripening soon and some of you will gathering it. If you are willing to save seeds for me, let me know what you want for the seeds and what shipping will cost. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks,
grykl

This is the first time I have been to this part of the website. If you will pm me your info I will see about finding you some persimmon seeds. How many are you looking for? I usually find a few persimmon trees when I am at work. I can pick some for you next time I find them. Do I need to do anything special with them or just send cut them out of the persimmon and send them to ya?

Just take them out and wipe most of the soft material off and let them dry for about a day, fold them in a paper towel and put in an envelope. If you got enough I suppose a small, flat rate box would work even better. At least I would expect that to work, I'll clean the rest of the junk off.

Anybody else have experience shipping this sort of thing?
