Got too much rust on my traps how do i get it off

Vinegar works from what I hear, don't let it set too long though since it will ruin the temper in the springs if I recall correctly. You could also do it the old fashioned way, with a wire brush. Honestly I never worried about rust, I just dipped them and didn't worry about them having too much rust.
