Price increases in the new catalog. Guess it had to happen sooner or later. Gotta fund all the great new designs.

After last weekend, I shouldn't need to buy another trap for a good 30-40 years... I can't say as I even looked at the catalog....

Hey WHAT hasn't gone up in the last year or two......at least as far as to what we buy. Yes, I don't like prices rising all the time, but MTP has to pay the bills like all of us.

thats not always true, fur goes up, more trappers come out of the woodwork and theft goes up

Bought any steel lately? Between the price of steel and fuel EVERYTHING has went up.

I looked at new Ford F-150 Super Cabs 4 WD and every one on the lot was a minimum of $40,000.00, went over to the Chevy dealer and every one was a minumum of $38,000.00. No wonder new vehicles aren't selling as well as they would like!

That is business and the MTP bunch are great folks. They bust their butts to produce top of the line products so we can be assured of purchasing the best money can buy.

I just got their new catalog and did notice some prices were a little higher. I hit the "checkout" button any way and submitted my order. Quality products and great service come at a premium these days and I'd rather buy from folks I've dealt with that have a proven track record of both.

how many times the last couple of years would you figure the cost of steel has raised after they printed the catalogs, and they just ate the increased cost?

X2 the same with the price of lures.I buy quite a bit of lure making supplies for my own use,glands,urine,essential oils,various musks,SB,glycerine,tincturing agents,lure containers,glass jars for storing/aging ect ect and I can tell you someone who is using quality ingredients,the labor involved in production and other costs associated with it,they aren't making a killing at $4-5$ an ounce.

Jesus. Just make an observation and you guys start the hunt for Frankstein. I didnt say it wasn't fair. Just said it went up. When your planning a very large order it makes a bit of a difference.

It sucks cause scrap is only going for $8 a hundred here, makes no since why steel is going up

just ordered a huge box of goodies from them--prices seemed competitive with other stores on-line. Service was exceptional, and shipping was super fast. Ordered Friday morning, received today (WI). Even received a free trap as a gift. I'd order from them again.

I havn't got my new catalog yet , got 2 others but not mtp.

I just took some real crappy scrap in today----lawnmower decks,rusted out chairs and exhaust pipes,real junky worthless scrap and I got $9/100lbs..Also car batteries are bringing $10 each.Had 9 of them..

Well dont even look at the catalog.. punch it MB Trap on the phone and them folks take my order , ship fast and I am happy.. been doing business with them for awhile and really like the way they do buisness
