A friend of mine is pretty well healed. His wife is always saying "you jist do whatever you can afford" whenever they get in a disagreement. Poor guy, she ain't got much to offer neither. lol

I only buy what I need, no one can sell expensive things to me. I buy cheap clothes, eat the cheapest food, eat food out of the garden and wildgame. I am happy this way as long I have my traps, house and my girlfriend.

My biggest waste of money is my car but I need it for my work, that's to bad. Working cost money, I thought working is for getting money.

I spent $330,000 on hunting property in Michigan. Then started hunting out of state and realized how crappy the Deer hunting is in Michigan. Meanwhile, land values tanked in MI and went sky high in Iowa, (which is where I should have bought hunting land).

I never understood why somebody would spend hundreds of thousands of dollers on land just to hunt deer on just to kill a bigger buck when u cant eat the horns anyway jmo. These are the people that complain about me killin a spike horn or a fork horn to put meat on my table which is the whole reason for hunting in the first place.

Having learned something from every purchase I have made I feel absent of monetary waste.....I will however concede that some lessons were more expensive than others.

A motorhome. Happiest days I owned it was the day we brought it home and the day I saw it leaving the drive when I sold it.

Yanmar tractor, bought it 100% restored with warranty which only lasted a year paid 13K cash for it and breaks down every month put around 10K in it so far could of bought me a brand new one for what Ive put into this pos.

I'm with wr otis. If I had every doller I spent on alcohol, lawyers and fines because of alcohol, lost wages from time in jail because of alcohol. Oh man what I could do with all that!
