What have you guys found to be the best ration of formula 1 to water? How many times do you dip and how much time before dipping? This will be for coilspring traps for canines.

Two tips I'd like to give you.
1. Remember that it's a membrane.
2. Since it's water soluble, make sure each layer has a chance to dry thourghly before adding another layer.

Good points !

I run mine 3 1/2 to 1 on snares.
When it's dry, run the lock back and forth several times.

Does F1 only seem to adhere to new/squeaky clean traps, or will it hold on to older rusty traps too?

says on the can to prep it like norm degreased and lite rust like dye'n ,

follow the directions for best results

allow more time then what you think is dry for best results ,a day between dips ,it will take 3-4 four dips
can go faster but in the middle of season is where the differance will be seen ,it will flake or wear faster (flake cause the layer had water in it and not bonded good)
