i like to put dog proofs by well used trails cause if u get a good smelling bait the coon will stick his paw in and he'll be waiting for u in the morning

for coon I run pockets 220's in trails or dog proofs in trails seems to be the best for me.

IMO and theres a lot of opinions but here the dp's and bucket sets with the conis are the most effective. Now the conis can't be used everywhere on land so again IMO the dp would be the best, but you have to be directly on location. Every set has advantages and disadvantages.

I prefer pocket sets, that way I get mink in my traps in addition to the coon.
Dps have there place, but are one dimensional--as far as catch goes.

Most of the coons i ever caught were in pocket sets or a PVC pipe set

But you can catch them in allot of differant sets
