i wish we were closer together. i have a lot of ideas in my head and about 30 years in the tool and die trade. other then the cost of steel, i truly feel a quality trap can be made here in the usa and compete on the price scale with the foreign made.
a nickel a hit has made many men rich if ya know what i mean... ack, that's what luggage and U-Haul was invented for. Go for it...

Tim, if you ship me instructions and parts I'll put together traps for nothing except some Caven's lures/baits this fall! Haha! I'll be getting a few hundred dollars worth of supplies from you in the mail tomorrow. YAY! Nothing like opening a box full of rebar and traps...mmmmmmmm

if I was 18 instead of 48, I'd move to MN and start for minimum wage just to work my way up from there. only downside is, between Tim, Rob, Sam and the rest of that clan, there'd be no fur left in the general area to trap. Minimum wages might not afford enough gas to drive far enough out of that dead zone and into surviving fur populations

I to would like to see a pic if it is at all possible. I am interested to know if the dogless trap is going to have the same setup as the old Montgomery's or something new.

Thanks for the update and I for one would very PROUDLY not have a problem paying a little extra for the traps to have them made right here in the good ole' USA!!! I think the Bridger traps are very tried and proven traps but the only downfall to me personally is they are made across the big water! I love ur MB traps, very well built right here in the states and I would take them over the Bridger any day. One of my favorite things about your company and your catalog is how you always are proud to say a product is made right here and that buying from y'all help create AMERICAN jobs!! Just more reason for me to give you my business! Keep up the good work!

Yes Tim I agree with you 100% on the hireing deal. People made it too easy to set at home and collect unemployment. I have got presses up to 50 ton, but my biggest problem it storage space

The 1.75 square jaw sounds great. Can't wait to get a few #3 dog less As I said in the 1 1/2 thread I would love to have a new disigned 1.75. I modify the Northwoods with a bigger pan, baseplated and laminate with #2 springs. They will hold what ever steps in them and are perfect fox traps. I hope this #3 turns out to be a super cat trap because I need several dozen.

I haven't forgotten you Mr. Hartle. I'm sorry for the delay, we are doing the best we can. Working 7 days a week and if there were 8 days a week we'd do that too. We didn't anticipate running low on so many other Bridger traps which bumped the #3 dogless out of place. I'd rather take some heat for running late then to rush it and not be pleased with the final product. Trapper Shrek, we take people with GOOD backs and turn them into office people in a few years! We are going to hold off on posting pictures until the traps are ready to ship. Thank you for understanding.
