I'll admit, I'm a sissy when it comes to heat... And for the last few weeks it has been hot, but nothing like this week. Over 95* each day with yesterday and today being over 100* before 10 o'clock! This just sucks. Been keeping me inside all week, haven't even gone out to test my new lures from the FTA rondy. I did manage to do a few thing off the to-do list.
Finally made beaver boards thanks to NAFA.

Got in some new hangers for my stretchers. I'll be getting more stretchers from 2sox when he gets nearby.

My new 160/220 stabilizers for under culverts/ drainage ditches on farms. Just slide them in.

Started making fish oil just for fun, buried not in the sun.

Dying new traps from the FTA, lit up the fire and ran back inside before I spontaneouse combusted (spelling? lol)

And finally added a sling to my rifle, now i can carry even more traps.

When the weather finally cools down, we'll be after perch.

Been also reading some more of the Wilderness series and what ever trapping magazine comes through. How have you been beating the heat?
