Anybody have any recommendations on commercially-available snare supports that don't extend above ground level, not including the support wire, of course. I like the Amberg and MTP type, but with WI cable restraint rules I don't want any stake protruding above ground level. Looks like the The Snare Shop has something that might work, but I can't tell from the picture how substantial they are. It would need to get through frozen ground. Any recommendations?

Sorry forgot about your "H" stands LT Grey. Just shows how I must be beaten about the head to remember something. I bet I have watched that video at least 5 times. How do yours drive into frozen ground LT? They sure do look light and easy to carry a bunch.

x2 They work excellent for me. I or anyone with a welder could build them for you easily.

PCS Outdoors sold a support similar to LT's at a previous NTA in Lima. They do not show up in their online catalog now.

Re-rod stake and a support wire. Wrap wire around stake, leaving about 5" of wire end to stick in ground to stabalize the wire. Drive stake as usual. If ground is frozen, use the stake before driving to poke a small hole for the wire.

Or just #9 wire bent and drove into the ground leaves no entanglement
