New episode on tonite at 10. Maybe this has already been talked about. But its a good series so far and look foward to watching it. That guy in NC doesn't do it for me,He's just a hippie in 2012. Now the other 2 guys is why I watch. Just my 2 cents

Agreed but the guy in Montana I don't 100% care for either. Another thing is that I find it odd that the guy would let the beavers build a lodge in the pond and wait till it starts freezing up to tell Tom to trap them...

I don't like Tom because if he is out for 5 minutes to long they act like the world is going to end...

Is it just me or do they show way more of Eustece and Tom than Marty?

Id like to see more of Marty's operation. A backcountry Alaska trapline, that looks fun!

The show would be much better without all the drama... just show these guys out there doing what they do and don't make more of a situation than it is. The drama and dramatic music gets to me.

Just my opinion.

3 episodes down and still no footage of Marty actually trapping or catching. I don't care for Tom's segment, and I can't stand Eustace's sections. Disappointing, and yet still tune in, hoping something interesting will pop up.

No way are you packing a snowmobile engine for 10 miles and changing it in 50 below zero !!!!! The clutch is not coming off without an impact wrench.......

Yes, The engine carry was a little far fetched. And who in their right mind would hand a rifle to someone and say sight it in I'm going hunting, That's just stupied. And if his rifle miss fired, then what the [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] is he tracking ? Your rifle missed fired NO SHOT was fired... Just a little out there in hollywood for me..

It sucks. Real disappointing. Marty works on snow mobiles all day, Tom looks for his dog everyday, and Eustace is a hippie that thrives on drama

Well, considering that Justin or whatever his name was sighted in a black lever action rifle, Eustace shot the deer with a wooden lever action, and in another scene of that they showed one of them with a bolt action, they need to do a little better job on paying attention to who's got what to keep their story straight.

Agreed. MANY editing mistakes. We're much more focused and in-the-know than the average bear though...

yea. first one was a 95 30-30, then they showed him hunting with a ruger #1, then the y showed the kid shooting a 22mag and show a bigger rifle hit on the wood.

Not that I'm defending the show, but why not? You do what you got to do. Won't say that I've carried a motor for 10 miles, but I've sure changed them in minus fifty weather. I've even pulled cylinders and changed pistons in those temps. As for the clutch most people I know with a spare motor have a clutch on them ready to go. One of my snow machines that I have now needs the clutch tightened every trip or it will come loose on it's own. Nothing seems to help! That said it is TV, what can one expect?

Not to mention what Mountian Man in his right mind would go into the woods on his trapline in Alaska without his rifle. The kind that wants to get killed in Alaska on his trapline I think.
I wouldn't even try that one in Montana either.
And lets not mention those hard winters in North Carolina. Been there done that, Did the Montana thing to. Now thats winter, and I can't even think of poor Marty up there in Alaska. Is Eustace going to get frost bite within a few minutes? Not!!!!
Hope they keep the show but get some other guys. Although most Real Mountian Men probablly wouldn't even do the show, because they probablly want them to do some dumb things or act differently then they really do. Let alone actually catch something. JMO
