Here is a link for portable electric fence.
Bear fencing.

This is the charger I have. Works great and is on sale. Buy some of the insulators and wire locally and save a lot.
Yellow Jacket Charger

I would NOT want to have to follow that bulldozer path through the alders and devils club, looking for the 800lbs of P issed off carnivore at the other end of the drag....

whooo weeee.... that would cure ANY case of the runny diahrea.

Been out there the past few weekends. Bear hasn't been back, but we're seeing tracks all over, more bear than moose.

Rut seems real late starting. No response to calling whatsoever, not even a grunt or gluck. One of my friends finally got a spike-fork this am, but I packed it in for the year.

They're closing the season ten days earlier this year. If you ask me, the bag limits ought to be raised to three griz and three blackies per year. There's no wolf sign back there, but bears all over the place.

Warm here too Jim. Very little rutting activity.

Gee, in retrospect, I guess I should have toed the line for the Gov's Office. I might still be on the BOG and could advocate for raising the limit on grizzlies in more units! \:\)
