Started trapping last year managed to get at least one coyote so I figured from what I read most first year trappers normally don't get a coyote there first year so I'm happy. Just looking for. Good coyote video that relates to my area I trap wi. I was looking at the coyotes nd combines and coyote trpping making sense of it all any reviews or video suggestions I'll be greatly appreciated. Slim Pedersons coyote trapping its called problems and solutions. He has got 2, the first one is for beginners or advanced trappers, and the second is more geared to more advanced trapping skills and ideas. He also has bobcat trapping, and a snaring video. Great videos and LOTS of info and real catches and he shows how to make tons of different sets.

J C Conners all are really good for coyotes and works for fox

Mr Dobbins DVD The Variations of the flat set is a classic and packed with info

My gosh, at one time there were a limited number to choose from, now they are every where.
Some are more advanced than others. Some start at square one and cover dying, waxing or dipping, and others start right out on the line. You need to figure out what you need.
I know I will forget some but will try to help you out.
The ones you mentioned are good ones.
JLord just came out with a most excellent DVD on canines. He covers everything pretty darn well. I think it is his best instructional DVD to date, and he has some other very good ones.
Mark June has two very good DVDs on coytes, very good.
J.C. Conners has good stuff.
The DVDs on Dobbins methods are good.
John Graham has some fine DVDs.
Eve though the country is different I learned and enjoyed Wayne Derricks coyote DVD.
Have to admit I like Thorpes coyote DVDs, has one on the East and one on West methods.
O'Gorman has some good info on his videos.

Lots more out there and it seems no matter how long you been at this you can learn something from most.

I agree, everyone should have Dobbins videos in their collection. This is no reflection on anyone elses videos as I haven't really viewed that many. I have seen Mark June's first DVD and it is well worth the money too.

I have a few yote videos and Junes is the best IMO.I haven't watched any of JLords though,and from what I hear,they are very good

Seen Wayne Derricks last one, Dont real care for his style. Herb Lenon Classic, Black and white, no sound, great dvd. He can make sets fast.

Gary jasper on Fur takers have a good one also .

I some how forgot about Herb Lenon's. He also wrote a great little book if you are lucky enough to find it.
Not to diminish his legend, making sets in sand is much faster than say in sod ground.
With Derricks DVD, even thou the country is vastly different than where I live in Maine, I thought there was a lot of info if you listened closely.

I am sure I have missed some other good ones I have bought.

I am new to trapping, and this was the best video I have seen for that purpose. I donated mine to the public library when I finished. Our library system has quite a few good trapping books too. I figure I am giving access to kids who have no trappers in the family.
