When I was young and in my prime I carried beaver all the time

Now I am old and grey and use my sled every day.

I'm in the majority on this one. I use a plastic sled. Slides easily over grass before the snow flies. I am going to rig higher sides before the season starts to keeP stuff in and buckets from tipping. That issue only surfaces when running a slalom course around trees when traveling thru timber. Some terrain you have to park it and go on with buckets. But it sure makes it easier pulling critters out. Never lose to many of those out of the sled cuz I am too busy peeking back and grinning lol.

How do you plan to add the high sides?

The sides are probably only 3-4 inches high now. I probably will build a 12" high box/walls out of 3/8 plywood or 1/4 luan with minimal framing to keep the weight down and that would be high enough to keep the contents in the sled. Eventually I will probably get an Otter sled I think.
