Depends on when I can land on the river. Not looking good as warm as it's been.

I'm with you Jeff. I have a half dozen 120's out, a few 330's and a few Talluyuk's out. I'm trying to pick up a few mink, beaver and otter while the fox and cats prime up.

One question on the talluyuk. On the one funnel version, the hole goes on the upstream side right? Is this true for blackfish too?

I have a few more to set yet, prefer across the river, and they are just crossing now..so will set them soon.

you can catch in either direction...but if you face it upstream ,its likly to plug with weeds and stuff I have mine on the down stream side..they tend to hunt upstream, it seams to me.

Cool, thank you.

The little creeks are still open here, the lakes have about 6-8 inches of ice on them.

It could be for both. Yes, it's just a funnel trap. Most people out here make them with only one end open.

No snow so opening day 2 days ago I set walking lines. It was calling for scattered snow showers. Well we flat got pounded 8 inches and still coming down gonna have fun walking in and taking care of those sets I got out frown I wouldn't have set if they had told me it was going to storm. Stupid weather service!

Anyone watch that show tonight about the Wolverine ? It was on PBS. I guess it was also on the Nature Channel. Interesting how the guy was able to raise those 2 young Wolverines.
