I have been catching my fisher at the same over turned tree root cubby for the last 3 seasons.catch 2 each yr.Simple dirt hole caught my first 2 cats also.

These two animals share some traits as far as 'trappability" goes. Neither are hard to catch if you find where they are.

very nice videos Bic!! gives me a whole lot of confidence that i am setting in areas that may hold cats and fisher...ive seen both..seen sign of both..just dont get to the big woods to scout as much as i'd like...so when i do make it up to trap i kinda wing it and try to go by what ive seen in the past...hopefully i can make it up for the fisher season again next season and hopefully the weather is better! last year was just lousy trapping weather for me...

What size trap do you guys feel is the best for fisher? The 1 i caught in 2010 was in a SC # 3. I have gone to almost all MB 550 offsets for my land trap in PA. I would like to get some SC # 3 long springs to try this fall. Any thoughts??

I have the 550 offsets as well and I am thinking about useing them for fisher
