J_M trapper Registered: 02/28/11 Loc: Minnesota	I think it is funny no one has brought up holding power. I have had 8 two toe caches on hind feet of beaver with long chains and none missed. I do not plan on using them next year but I will certainly continue using them this year. The reason I do not plan on using them on beaver is I feel they will make excellent coyote traps. Now if a DLS was made in dogless version I would no longer have to try to figure out witch traps to buy. _________________________ The pup

Dogless longsprings have been done by individuals who are into modifying traps... _________________________

J_M trapper Registered: 02/28/11 Loc: Minnesota	I have been working on them also with the help of CCarey giving me a little guidance on making sure they can be rubber jawed. Hopping to work on them more come May when our beaver season ends. I would like to get some prototypes out people who manufacture traps then they can build in mass and I cold buy but we will see how that works. _________________________ The pup

You no we can not use anything over 5 3/4 inside spread and its suppose to have a pan tention screw hear in NY ,I never used Doubble long springs, but that looks good.Maybe if I lam the inside, yes I said lams and fig out how to put a pan tention screw on it.. But,it actually says pan tension device,not screw,and on long springs and coils for that matter,bending the dog up or down actually increases or decreases the tension,so... _________________________
