I know where they are at. I have fished the Bullpasture and Spring Run. I'm gonna try and go fishing up around Back Creek tomorrow.

Outta control 31,

What kind of rig(s) will you be runnin? (As in traps) If you haven't purchased or have any you should go with the MB550, I'm saying 550 for your country because you probably have some fox up there. Around my neck of the woods I run 650's because I have cats, and no fox. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or just ask!

Books never worked for me. Videos do much better. Better yet if you watch an EXPERIENCED trapper on his line. The state/natl conventions have demonstrations that are VERY beneficial to new trappers. Head to as many conventions as you can and spend as much time in the demo stands as you can.

Its easy to learn how to trap nowadays. Used to be either you figured it out on your own or you didn't.

Archives---Land Trapping

YOu will find too much info to digest/remember!!

Get a notebook and save the info you need now or LATER.

Print it out and put in notebook for future reference.

Saves tons of time when you need to find it later.

My notebook has sections for each target species.

I have bookmarked the topics in the Archives and organized them in folders. Very easy to navigate in my web browser.
